Chupa Chubs

There is another great challenge at The Lollipop Ladies which ends in a few days.

 

The inspiration is chupa chubs with the added criteria of curves.

Here is my DT card for this challenge.

I went to a stampin up party and got inspired to do some stampin again. It was good to back into it. I have used stripes like chupa chubs wrapping and used circles and scollop borders for my curves.

There is also the bonus of a chance to join our Design Team. Please head over and join in.

Creative flowers

I have taken a break from scrapbooking since my kids have had school holidays with lots of sleepovers and we've enjoyed little trips away. I also have some sewing projects I need to complete, ahh life is so busy☺.
But I have completed my CT work and today I'm sharing my work for the challenge at ARTastic.

The extra criteria is to make your own flowers.




















I have done a page of Amy sitting by a fire we lit to burn off. We ended up having our dinner by it as a family, these are the moments I treasure and I hope my kids do too.

I have made my flowers from denim and tulle. The lace flowers I made by stitching a running stitch along the long side of the lace and then gathering till it sits in a round shape. This method can also be done with a strip of fabric. I have also added a doily behind one of the lace flowers and a yo-yo flower.

My butterflies are from Grant Archival, they are a mix and match packet so they can be built up, which are so cute.

Happy birthday card

Justine has been enjoying 2 weeks of school holidays and used them to do lots of crafting including fabric flowers which she used on her card for The Pink Elephant.

Chevron

Justine has made another card for Daring Card Makers with the challenge of using Chevron. Justine used chevron fabric on her card.

We are busy with school holidays and the children are enjoying sleepovers with friends. They have been busy crafting but I have been busy feeding them ☺.
