Racing cars

Hello, back with another CT card for the challenge over at The Lollipop Ladies.
The inspiration are one of my kids favourite lollies, racing cars with the extra criteria of stripes.

I have used the colours for my inspiration including leaving a white background, the best part of the lolly.

It's a fun and easy challenge so we would love to see what you come up with.

Pineapples and triangles

Hi, I'm a bit late posting this but I have just spent yesterday and last night at the hospital because my eldest had her tonsils removed. Since she has to take it easy for a week or two it might be crafting time together. Any excuse ☺.

The Lollipop challenge at the moment is inspired by the pineapple lollies, YUM,with the criteria of triangles.

I have made a cute little bird card for this challenge. I water coloured in the bird and his house. My triangles are in the little bunting I've made in the pineapple colours.

We would love to see more entries for this challenge so head over as there is still a couple of days left to go.

Stylish

ARTastic has another great challenge this month, using the following art piece for inspiration.
A beautiful quilt!

I love quilting and so I was a bit excited about this challenge. I couldn't resist picking out the bright colours and flowers.
I have made a page showing Ella's classic idea of dressing, a thing that keeps us laughing, but she doesn't care.
I used the flower on Ella's shirt as an idea for my flower which I have stitched to my page. I added misting, stamping, and buttons. I have also added strips of fabric down the side which I have stitched using a 'curly' stitch.
A close up of my flower.
I couldn't resist adding a little fabric bunting☺. I love all the different stitches I have on my machine and being able to use them for scrapbooking too.

Hope you are inspired to join in and we look forward to seeing your take on this challenge.

Black and White

The challenge at The Lollipop Ladies this fortnight is aniseed rings; personally lollies I do not enjoy.

But I did enjoy the challenge of only using black and white. I took the opportunity to make a boys card with a grungy look. Any idea to make a male card has to be used since I struggle with these cards.
Some cool paper, grunge stamp background from Kaiser craft and a stamp from Stampin Up, perfect for boy cards.

I took a break last month from scrapping and concentrated on my sewing and house which I really enjoyed but hopefully I'll be back this month to post.  Tonight I have a crafting date with Justine. She is so excited, which is kinda cute to see.

Take care.
