Just Enjoy Life

Hello,
I am squeezing one more page in for the month of May, a page for the challenge at D-lish Scraps. I receive their subscription kits each month and they are delightful. I look forward to them each month☺︎.
They have a mood board challenge to fit the kit and that is what I have used for my page.

My page for this challenge is one of my daughter dune boarding on our recent camping trip,
Once again I have created my background using texture paste mixed with mist to create my circles. I have also used splatters of mist to fill in the white between. The papers I have used are from my stash but all the elements are from the May kit. Pages come together so easily when I use kits.

My wooden circles I sprayed with Heidi Swapp mist which has a hint of glitter to it.

I have enjoyed the scrapbook challenges this month and look forward to seeing what comes along next month. Till then I hope you find some happy scrapping time yourself☺︎

Awesome

Hi there,

I'm not usually a clean, white space scrapbooker but I have for a page I did for the sketch challenge at Scrap The Boys.

I must admit it took me a while to work out how to interpret this sketch. Here is my page for you to see☺︎
I love distressing in my pages and for me, I love it even more on a boy's page. Gives it a 'rougher' style typical for a boy. These photos I took on our last camping holiday.

My little tag cluster and split pin. I'm not allowed to use flowers from my son so tags are the perfect solution☺︎

Thanks for popping by.

Cool Girl

I have got my scrapbooking mojo this month☺︎ and I have even enjoyed some scrapbooking time outside enjoying the Autumn sun.
Today I have a page to share for the sketch challenge at Scrap Africa. Their challenges now run for the entire month, which gives more time to join in.

My background circles were created my mixing mist with modelling clay before using with a stencil. I saw the idea of the circles around the photo on pinterest and really liked and it suited the sketch perfectly.  I haven't used a bunting on my page for a while and it was fun to add one in again.
The papers I used were from Kaiser Craft-Miss Empire collection.

Thanks for popping by☺︎

Great Day

Hello,
I've spent the day between being a taxi for my children and attending netball games to do some scrapbooking for National Scrapbook Day.
I created a page for 123 Scrapbook Challenge.

The challenge was 1. Grey, 2.Great and 3. Grunge.
I used water colour and modelling paste along with some stamping to create my background. I chose to go with a dark grey with a pop of red in the way of the tag and pegs.
I am enjoying using Kaiser craft elements on my pages and for this page I used the film strip, circle words and domino stone. An easy way to dress up a page.

Right, back to scrapbooking for me and I hope to be bringing you another page soon.

Thanks for popping by.

Pure Joy

Hello☺︎,

I've enjoyed starting the month of May with some scrapbooking. The page I'm sharing today is for the  challenge at Scrap The Girls, using this sketch;

My page,

I used the papers and elements from the Kaiser Craft range-Kleidescope. I did a lot of distressing of the papers and inked the edges. I kept the background simple because the papers and layout were busy on their own, just some simple stamping and splattering of ink.

Some close ups of the elements I used,

Thanks for popping by, and happy scrapping.

Girls

Welcome May, it always feels like it's a pretty month to me☺︎. The weather is getting cooler here in south of Western Australia, and more rain showers, so the fields are turning green and the gardens are looking fresh, but still beautiful sunshine to enjoy.
I'm starting May with my DT page for ARTastic. This month, the challenge is inspired by Mother's Day which we will enjoy next Sunday.
CRITERIA IS GIRLS ONLY

For my page I scrapped a page of my 3 girls, they are all in a line like the inspirational piece and I have also used the colours of the painting for my page.
I used a number of elements to create my page, both for my background and my embellishments. I have misted and used modelling paste with a stencil for my background.

I will be showing how I used stencils to create a number of my elements for this page, on ARTastic for their tips, tricks and techniques later this month.
