Christmas at Lollipops

The last challenge for the Lollipop Ladies for this year. And to fit in with the theme of December it's a Christmas challenge with this yummy pudding.

And the card I made for this challenge:

I used a Kaiser craft clear stamp for my Christmas tree backed by several papers. I wound gold string around my red ribbon to give some glitter to my card including blue rhinestones on my tree.

Christmas time

I am very late this year in doing Christmas cards. I normally make cards for all our family since we live away from them all.  I have decided to do a few for friends who live on the other side of Australia and make special cards wishing each of our family a blessed 2012. I made this Christmas card along with the challenge over at Just Add Ink which is a photo inspiration.

I have used the colours and the bling from these pretty little bags.

I have used white Stampin up ink for my background leaf and then highlighted it with some rhinestones.

I have used the 4 colours although a lighter pink for my colours. I ripped and distressed the edges of the papers to give them more dimension.

Hopefully it will be received before Chritmas for our friends to enjoy.

Another princess

Finally a LO from me. I have not had the energy to scrapbook lately but I hope that I'm up and going again. I've done a page for the Scrap the Girls challenge of using baby photos to fit in with Christmas, the birth of Jesus. This is the true meaning of Christmas for my family and so it was nice to do a challenge around this theme.

 I scrapped photos of my 4th child when she was only a few hours old.

I used glitter mist for the background first using a butterfly mask and then to add some splatter paint effect. I saw the bunting idea from one of my patchwork magazines where they used it for a welcome sign. I had the perfect stickers to give it a sewn look.

A homemade flower using a scallop circle punch and chipboard button. I have stamped a shipping tag and added a cute little shaker button.

A close up of my bunting and a fabric flower I got from a friend. I found this little metal star in my stash which I hung from a ribbon.

Milk bottles

The challenge over at Lollipop Ladies this next fortnight is

Milk bottles with the extra challenge of mostly white.  Milk bottles are my absolute favourite and lucky for me, my kids are that keen on them so I'm allowed to have theirs when they have a lolly bag :).

My card for this challenge is for my niece.

I have embossed the background and added some doilies behind with some paper flowers. I love the elegant look of this card.

I have not been blogging much because I have been busy with my other craft love, sewing. Now that my patchwork wall hanging is finished, it's time for some more paper crafting.
