Enjoy today

Hello,
Today I have a page to share with you using the wonderful sketch challenge from Sketchabilities.
How I have used the sketch; using a recent photo of my youngest,
I like the simplicity of the page I created using a few new goodies I purchased ☺. Cute little photo frame, ribbon flowers and a new misting stencil.

My embellishment cluster for the top of my page.

I haven't been much on the blog this month, but my girls are keeping me busy, needing help as they have found the fun of misting. The flu bug is taking us down one by one so there's no rest here as a mum. Today they were all back at school and the house was quiet again ☺.

Take care and happy scrapping.

Family

Hello,
I have been missing this month because I have been very busy with my other craft love of sewing. I actually had another page completed but didn't get it linked up in time so I'll save that one to show you later. Instead I have this page done for the challenge at Off the Rails which had this great mood board.

And my page using a family photo we had taken just a couple of weeks ago, on a day out.

I have used a Webster page for my background paper. This page was perfect for the colours of this mood board. I have picked up the orange and red for my main colours to back my photo.

I wanted to create a bit of 3D on my page so I have used some paper flowers on top of the flowers printed on the paper. I also used a paper flower which my girls had fun making at a friend's house.

I have had a number of days feeling very flat with no energy, but hopefully I will get over it soon as there are some very nice challenges this month, that I would love to join in with☺.

Bonfire night

Hello June☺, a month to mark the start of Winter, here in Australia, and the month which brings us to the end of the first half of the year.
And a month of new scrapbooking fun☺.

My first page is my DT page for ARTastic, which uses a fun inspiration piece this month.
The criteria to go with this challenge is wood veneer and/or birds.

For my inspiration I went with the main colour of Aqua, like the bird along with pops of orange inspired from the bird's beak. The paper is from Kaiser Craft, background papers.

This beautiful flower was made by a friend. I used rub ons to add some words to my tag.

My wooden flower for the criteria and a homemade flower from a die cut. I have my cuttlebug set up all the time lately and I'm using it a lot more.

My cute little wooden butterfly and bird button, to add to the criteria.

Can't wait to get to some of the month's challenges and a big thank you for all the lovely comments last month on my pages. I had a good month scrapbooking but the comments I received added so much more. Thank you.
