Ella

Hello,
We are really relaxing this school holidays and I'm enjoying some craft time. Today I have my youngest sharing the table with me, card making. Always nice having craft company☺︎
I am sharing a page I did using this pretty sketch challenge from Scrap Africa.

My page:
I used the sketch to inspire the word stamping for my background and using most of my elements on the bottom half of my photo especially flowers.

A close up of my cluster with a doily stencilled using gesso as a background.

Thank you for popping by☺︎

Bubbles

Second post for today☺︎.
I couldn't resist joining in with the Jot challenge this month. The mood board is gorgeous and my favourite colour happens to be yellow, but funnily enough, I don't scrap with that colour very much.

My page for this challenge;
I have created my background with water colour paint and chevron gesso patterns. From there I chose my papers and lots of elements from my stash.

I found coloured doilies in the back of my craft cupboard and was happy to find some yellow. I had also bought this love heart paper clip a long time ago. It's always good to find a home for things☺︎.

A close up of another cluster backed with another cotton doily along with a paper one. Love how the different yellows all compliment each other.

It's been so nice to scrapbook today while the rain was coming down and hearing my kids playing around me. Felt so cosy and homely.
Hope you are finding time for your own scrapbooking.
Thanks for popping by.

Adrenaline Girl

Hello and welcome July. Middle of winter for me in Western Australia and we are feeling it. It is also school holidays so I am enjoying the kid's company.
A little bit late but here is my DT page for ARTastic this month which is inspired by this painting:
with the criteria having your project around the rural theme.

This is my girl having fun at her Uncle's place. She loves anything that goes fast and gives her a thrill. I used water colour paint for my background and centred my photo like the cows on the inspiration painting. I also used the colours from my daughters clothing as my guide.

A little cluster of fun elements and because I just have to have a cluster☺︎

We would love for you to pop around to ARTastic and see how the other DT members have been inspired and maybe you would like to join in too.
