Faith

I have some nieces and a nephew professing their faith in our LORD, in the church we attend and so I made cards for them. Some I have done for other challenges so they will be posted when needed. This card is for a niece. I made following the Sketch challenge at Just Add Ink.
Most of my papers are from Kaiser craft - Madame Boutique, a beautiful range. I distressed most of the edges and I didn't have the right colour flowers so I glimmer misted some white ones. Added a brown doily, some twine and wooden butterflies, and another card done.

Worm greetings

And now another post this time for my daughter Justine. She has made a card for the challenge over at Lollipop Ladies which is based on sour worms with the added criteria of sparkle.
Justine has been learning to layer papers and not put everything square all the time.  She used glitter on her worm for the sparkle and used one of my homemade crochet flowers.

I love watching Justine develop in her cardmaking.

Hard at work

I did this LO of Kyle chopping wood, he volunteers each time to do it but doesn't like doing any other chores around the house!
I have done this LO for the challenge over at November 123. The criteria is firstly to use grey, which is my background.

And secondly to use the word PLEASE which I have done in my journalling, it's a very big please too LOL! And thirdly to stamp with or on something different. I have stamped with a lego block, creating texture on my background and also on the edges of the paper. I'm really happy how it turned out.

I love distressing my papers and sometimes inking the edges. I have also added some rub ons and some other embellishments to complete my page.

Hope you enjoy it as much as I did creating it.

Fun at the park

Lollipop Ladies new challenge is sour worms with the added criteria of sparkle.  My kids love this lollies, I don't know how they eat them. I have gone with the colours for this challenge and have added sparkle in my title and flowers.  The background paper is from Basic Grey.

My sparkly title on a banner I made from the Stampin up punch. I have distressed and inked the edges of my papers to make them stand out more. I had this orange cord in my stash which tied in nicely with this layout.

I love all the bright colours in this LO, adds to the fun Ella had in the park.

Quiet time

As promised, another LO I did the other day. This one is for Scrap the Girls, the challenge was to use:
PINK AS THE DOMINANT COLOUR
MULTIPLE PICS
POLKA DOTS
The rule at our house is that it's quiet time after dinner. This LO shows a very relaxed time, normally I'm running around finishing off the day because once the kids are in bed I like to sit down and it's me time.

I have added some of my crocheting, a love heart and flower. I have also used a few tags and ribbon for embellishments. I have also cut another girl from the Kaiser craft paper - class '87. You will most likely see more in LOs to come because I love them.

At the top I added journalling using note paper which I inked the edges. I also stitched using my sew easy tool for cute love hearts. The flowers are from Stuff2scrap chipboard which inked with a sponge. I also sponged white in on my background card to add a bit of texture.

2 more LO in the making so hopefully I'll finish them soon. Till then happy crafting.

Dad and Ella

I have done this LO for the Get Picky inspiration challenge which is just beautiful. It involves my other craft love, sewing. I have used the inspiration for my background with the colours, patchwork papers and sewing. The papers are from Lime twist - Happy go lucky.

My cluster of flowers including the Tim Holtz rosette, prima flower and my homemade flower from the other requirement of the challenge to use fabric. I have tied the button on with ribbon for a change.

More fabric flowers, one from my friend who I spent the day scrapbooking yesterday. I have also did some stamping and added Love with a rub on, it doesn't stand out a lot, but I like it to be subtle sometimes too.

I love this little girl, I have cut her out from Kaiser craft paper -class of '87 . I have also used a tag from the Kaiser craft bubblegum range. I love these tags as you get a lot for a cheap price. I found cute paper clips at the newsagency and find they can just add a little touch to my LOs.

Here is the inspiration picture if you would like to join in. I want a room like this!

After having a whole day crafting with a friend I have a couple more LOs on the way, it was a great way to spend the day.
See you soon.
